We have compiled a few tips and tricks you can follow to optimise your audio quality:
- Sit as close as possible to the lecturer/source of recording or speaker
- Avoid sitting around people that you know talk a lot during your lecture/meeting
- If you are sat in a lecture that’s being live streamed but you’re there in person (hybrid) you can screen record the lecture instead
- Do not run microphone cables alongside power cables
- If you are using hardware devices, test them beforehand
- Where possible aim to limit background noise as much as possible
