You can download a copy of the transcript directly from the Caption.Ed Dashboard and within the Session Editor.
What File Types are Available?
You can download your transcript into three different file types, and each file type has its purpose.
- Standard text file (.TXT) - This can be used on multiple computers and imported into other pieces of software.
- VTT captions file (.VTT) - This is mainly used for video editing software like Adobe Premiere, allowing you to sync up captions with your video.
- Word document (.DOCX) - This can be used for any documentation that you need to share with colleagues.
Download From your Library
- Log into Caption.Ed in the browser.
- Click on Library on the left-hand side.
- Find the session for which you want to download the transcript, and then click on the download icon on the right-hand side.
- Choose which file type you want to download, and then the file will be downloaded to your computer.
Download From the Session Editor
- Log into the Caption.Ed in the browser.
- Click on Library on the left-hand side.
- Find the session you want to download the transcript and click on the session.
- Click on the export button in the top right-hand corner of the screen, and choose the file type you want to download.
- The file will now be downloaded to your computer.
Tip:
To download your notes, you can do this through the session editor.
