Did you know there are a few ways you can incorporate slideshows into your live and saved sessions?
Incorporating slideshows into a live session
This method will show you how to include your own slides in a live session.
- Open your slideshow file
- Open Caption.Ed, select screen recording and start your session
- Once the session begins, open your slideshow and start the presentation. You can now freely flick through the slides.
- Once you're done, end your Caption.Ed session.
- The session will now be uploaded to your Caption.Ed library with a video recording of your slideshow attached. (As well as having the video, you can also attach the original slideshow file to the session, too.)
Incorporating slideshows into a saved session
With the Caption.Ed Notes Editor, you can attach PDF slideshows to your sessions. This makes it easier than ever to use Caption.Ed to support your learning.
- First, login to your online Caption.Ed account
- Select a session to open up the Notes Editor.
- Where it says "Upload a PDF slideshow" click "Select". Locate and open the PDF file you want to attach.
- The slideshow will now be attached to your Caption.Ed session. You can navigate between the slides by pressing the arrow keys on the slideshow.
Deleting an attached slideshow
You can delete the slideshow by pressing the trash icon in the bottom right of the slideshow, you will be promoted to select "Delete" (or cancel if you wish to cancel).
