For the best experience, we recommend you use Caption.Ed in the browser instead of the Caption.Ed Desktop app. You can install Caption.Ed in the browser as an app if you'd like.
You may need to reset your Caption.Ed desktop application due to an issue. Here's a quick and easy guide to help.
Windows
- Close Caption.Ed App
- Type "Run" into the Windows search bar
- Select the "Run" command at the top
- Then enter "%USERPROFILE%\\AppData\\Roaming\\Caption.Ed\\storage"
- Press OK
- Delete any *.json files
- Open Caption.Ed, log in and try running a new session.
MacOS
- Close Caption.Ed
- Open Finder (left-most icon in the Dock)
- In the menu bar, click on Go → Go to Folder...
- Copy and paste the following pathway "~/Library/Application Support/Caption.Ed/storage"
- Press Enter
- Delete any *.json files
- Open Caption.Ed, log in and try running a new session.
