This is a brief overview of how Caption.Ed can be deployed across an organisation. Rest assured, when it comes to deploying Caption.Ed for your organisation, we'll be there to support you every step of the way and ensure it's a success
We understand that every university is different and as such we have a number of ways in which Caption.Ed can be licensed.
Similarly, you can choose how you would like to deploy Caption.Ed across your organisation.
Generally speaking, we have three options:
Direct Invitation
This is for when you only want specific users within your organisation to be granted access to Caption.Ed.
You can invite them through your organisation dashboard.
This is simple to do, and the student will receive an email invite to use Caption.Ed.
Registration pending approval
Using this method would make your potential users aware that Caption.Ed is available and will provide them with a sign-up link.
The users would then sign themselves up to use the software but would be required to have a specific organisation email domain in order to complete the registration process.
As an organisation admin, you would be alerted when someone (with an official organisation email address) has requested access and would be able to approve or deny their access to Caption.Ed in the browser.
Open Sign Up
Using this method, you would make your potential users aware that Caption.Ed is available and will provide them with a sign-up link.
The users would then sign themselves up to use the software but would be required to have a specific organisation email domain in order to complete the registration process.
Upon successful registration, they would automatically be granted access to the software.
Note:
Unlike "registration pending approval", Open sign-up allows any users with a valid organisation email address access to your Caption.Ed institutional license
