Did you know that you can mark sections of a captioning session as important, copy sections, or add notes to your sessions using the Caption.Ed mobile app?

Here's a walkthrough of how to make and manage your session notes.

Marking a section as important

During the live session, or on a pre-recorded session from your library, select the section of text you want to mark as important.

Select the "Important" icon

This section will now be flagged with a "!" icon.

Copying a section of the transcript

During the live session, or on a pre-recorded session from your library, select the section of text you want to copy.

Select the "Copy" icon.

This section of text will now be in your devices clipboard, ready to be pasted anywhere.

This section will now be flagged with a "Copy" icon to indicate that it's been copied.

Adding a note to a section

During the live session, or on a pre-recorded session from your library, select the section of text you want to attach a note to.

Select the "Add note" icon.

You'll be taken to a separate page where you can type in your note for that section. Select "Save" to add the note to the session.

This section will now be flagged with a "Notes" icon to indicate that a note has been attached to it.

Viewing and managing your notes

During the live session, or on a pre-recorded session from your library, select the "Notes" icon at the bottom right.

This will show you a list of all of the sections you've marked as important, all the sections you've copied, as well any notes you've added to sections.

You can select a note to edit or delete it.
