Accessing the Notes Editor
Notes Editor page layout
The Notes Editor page will be spilt up into three panels:
- Your attached media will be on the left panel (a video, screen recording, or keynote slides).
- Your generated transcript will be in the central panel.
- Your notes will in the right panel.
You can toggle individual panels on and off by selecting the "Workspace" icon in the top right. For example, if you only wanted to see the media with your notes, you could untick "Transcript".
Using the control panel at the top of the page, you're able to control any media you've attached to the session with.
- Play and pause the media.
- Skip or rewind by 15 seconds.
- Adjust the playback speed.
- Mute and unmute the audio.
Adding a note
You can add a note to a section of the transcript by selecting a word in the transcript, typing in the note panel, and pressing enter on your keyboard. You can also upload image and gif files as notes by selecting the "Attach" paperclip icon.
Your saved notes will appear in the notes panel with the time-code indicated.
You can edit a note by selecting the "Edit" icon on the note, or you can remove it entirely by selecting the "Delete" trashcan icon.
Copying and marking sections as important
You can also flag certain sections of the transcript as important, or copy the content into your notes panel.
Changing the font size and theme
You can change the font size of the transcript by selecting the "TT" icon at the bottom centre of the screen.
You can change the theme of the whole page by selecting the "Theme" icon at the top right of the screen. You can choose from:
